About the Role
We are seeking a driven, organised, and personable Sales Manager to join our Executive Management team. You will oversee and support a busy sales team, working closely with our Valuations, Account Management, and Housebuilder Client teams to ensure our customers are receiving the highest level of service from instruction through to completion.
You'll take ownership of key relationships, contribute to strategy as part of the Executive Team, and play an active role in our Monday morning management meetings. You'll also handle sales progression oversight, escalated complaints, and be the point of contact for senior-level issues related to house sales.
This is a hands-on role, combining team leadership with direct involvement in deal progression, client relationships, and operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coach the residential sales team to meet and exceed KPIs, including monthly exchange and completion targets.
Be an active member of the Executive Team, contributing ideas and reporting performance and priorities in Monday meetings.
Conduct one-to-ones, team meetings, and offer day-to-day support and development to ensure high standards are maintained.
Take ownership of senior relationships with the Valuations team, working together to ensure smooth transitions from instruction to sale.
Act as the senior point of contact for housebuilder clients, maintaining regular communication and attending key sales events.
Improve procedures, standards and efficiency within the sales progression process.
To be able to understand complex property problems instantly and present solutions in line with company standards.
Liaise with preferred mortgage advisors on streamlining offers and qualifications for prospective buyers.
Build relationships with subcontractors such as plumbers, builders to assist with property building-related problems.
Confidence in negotiating fee's with instructed partners
Provide structured marketing reports, performance updates, and pipeline summaries.
Liaise with housebuilder site teams and senior staff to address concerns, provide solutions, and maximise successful outcomes.
Attend new site launches and events, promoting Property Perspective as a trusted sales partner.
Oversee the sales progression function, ensuring timely movement of transactions through to exchange and completion.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, liaising with solicitors, agents, mortgage advisors, and internal teams to unblock delays.
Handle escalated customer complaints professionally, ensuring matters are investigated, resolved, and communicated with care.
Monitor sales performance using CRM and reporting tools, presenting figures and insights at management meetings.
Identify operational bottlenecks and collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.

Highly organised, with a positive and proactive mindset.
Experience & Skills:
We would consider a strong, ambitious manager who has B2B and B2C experience outside of the property industry.
3 years of experience managing and mentoring a sales team.
Experience in driving KPI's, motivating a team to achieve targets and raising service levels to reach business goals.
Strong IT skills
Proven track record in property sales, ideally within a housebuilders environment, estate agency, or part exchange.
Strong knowledge of the sales progression process, including dealing with multiple stakeholders.
Confident, calm under pressure, and solution-focused.
Excellent communicator with the ability to build trust and lead by example.
Highly organised, with a positive and proactive mindset.
Capable of producing clear and insightful reports for clients and senior leadership.
Adept at handling sensitive or complex situations with diplomacy.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as needed.
