Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to join our team in the UK. This pivotal role will drive our sales strategy and contribute significantly to our mission of providing secure destruction services across various sectors. The Head of Sales will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and enhancing client relationships.
The role will enter into our leadership team and carries full P&L responsibility to deliver our ambitious, realistic 5 year strategy which will see the incumbent exposed to domestic and European expansion plans, steep YOY financial growth trajectory, potential for M&A opportunities and exciting plans to open up our service proposition to remain competitive with a USP that spearheads the industry.

Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Oversee day-to-day sales operations and retention strategies across all sales channels
Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the company's five-year growth strategy
Identify and develop new revenue streams and opportunities for expansion
Take full ownership of the revenue budget and ensure delivery against targets
Team Management & Development
Mentor and lead commercial teams, supporting them in building high-performing units
Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports to develop their leadership and management skills
Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on performance and results
Financial Oversight
Take full P&L responsibility for the sales function
Own and write the revenue budget, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
Understand cashflow forecasting and its impact on business operations
Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate closely with the Board and SLT to ensure strategic alignment
Represent the sales function in cross-functional leadership initiatives
Performance & Analytics
Monitor and analyse sales performance data to drive informed decision-making
Implement KPIs and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Ensure continuous improvement in customer experience and satisfaction
Required Experience & Skills
Proven track record in leading and scaling sales teams across multiple channels
Experience in managing customer retention and driving ACV (Annual Contract Value) growth
Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and budgeting
Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational plans effectively
Experience in cross-functional leadership and collaboration
Desirable Attributes
Experience in a fast-growth business environment
Exposure to a B2B service model which works on recurring contractual revenue
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools; able to read, manage and make decisions through data
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
