Head Of Sales Enablement

Exeter, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you an ambitious and results-focussed business development professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact to the bottom line? Then we want to hear from you....!

Our Business Development and Marketing (BDM) team is at the centre of an ambitious growth strategy that is raising our profile as one of the UK's leading Audit, Accountancy, Tax and Advisory firms.

We've set exciting plans to significantly transform our business into a national practice in the next few years, through ambitious organic growth, and strategic M&A activity.

We're now looking to grow our team with a brand-new sales enablement focused role that will drive that ambition.

The Role

As our Head of Sales Enablement, you'll have the responsibility for enabling our partners and directors to deliver on their growth targets by ensuring rigour and momentum in their business and client development activities.

This is a key leadership role in driving our strategic business objectives and expanding our growth within our core markets. You'll need a commercial mindset, strong influencing skills, and the ability to harness data-driven insights including development of tools and BD processes.

This role is not target-driven itself but designed to provide additional firepower to better enable the responsibility and accountability of senior fee-earners to achieve tangible sales, and firmwide growth results.

You'll bring fresh ideas, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive mindset to support the firm's strategic goals, whilst developing effective working relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

Drive new business growth by enabling partners, directors, and senior managers to win work through disciplined business development process and activity. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within the business to enable lead generation, sales and identifying cold targets. Deliver monthly check ins with all partners using data, tools and BD processes to ensure actions are being delivered and progress being made. Partner with local market teams to track and drive opportunity management and progress against BD targets. Oversee the firm's key client growth approach, ensuring relationship holders are equipped with intelligence, tools, and support to expand client relationships. Leverage CRM, ERP, and other firm data sources to identify opportunities, track behaviours, and monitor outcomes. Be recognised as the go-to sales enablement lead in the business, utilising opportunities to share knowledge and expertise to increase overall performance. Prepare regular reports demonstrating business development activities, progress and outcomes.
