The role




The Head of Sales Operations will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the operational backbone of the sales network. This leader ensures sales systems, dealer processes, financial structures, and training frameworks are robust, scalable, and aligned with strategic growth. Acting as the bridge between Sales, Finance, Network Development, and Logistics, the role balances rigor with agility to drive sustainable dealer and sales performance.



This is not just a Head of Role for Norton, it will take with the global expansion for Norton and our parent company, TVS Motors.

Duties/Responsibilities



Sales Operations & Governance



Develop, document, and refine Sales Operations SOPs to drive consistency and efficiency. Define and maintain dealer legal standards (LOI, contract agreements, renewals, relocations/ownership
changes, terminations).
Develop a network planning system that enables region sales teams to define dealer AORs (Areas of Responsibility) Lead financial due diligence processes for new dealer appointments. Create dealer pitch decks, proposals, and marketing materials. Establish and monitor reporting cadences for dealer appointments and prospects. Develop a platform for sharing key documentation with dealers (contracts, LOIs) that includes the capability to approve documents. Support the development of dealer portals, LMS platforms, and digital sales aids.




Dealer Development & Performance





Design and develop an ASM toolkit that can support regular dealer performance discussions (including NPS, market share reporting, and composite)Lead Balanced Scorecard assessments and external dealer audits/mystery shopping. Define and manage model-wise and PAM-wise dealer margin structures in collaboration with Finance. Develop recognition programs and incentive schemes for dealer partners. Support with the definition of a dealer performance management process to ensure there are clearly defined expectations

Wholesale & Retail Finance



Establish and manage standards for wholesale and retail finance partners, covering financial terms, legal clauses, and promotional mechanics. Oversee documentation and compliance requirements for finance partners. Drive cadence and reporting of retail finance performance in collaboration with Finance and Legal.


Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)



Partner with S&OP to shape Order Management and S&OP system developments. Contribute to rolling forecasts, inventory planning, LRP, and capacity planning. Align with Commercial Planning teams on sales forecasting and planning.

Sales Planning Support





Support monthly sales planning and reviews, ensuring alignment between Regional Sales, Sales Planning, and other functions Partner on sales promotion and BTL planning with Marketing. Contribute to sales toolkit and booking platform development for field teams.

Personal Specification



Industry Knowledge: 10+ years of experience in Automotive, Motorcycle, or Dealer Network businesses, with a deep understanding of dealer ecosystems and sales channels. Sales Ops Mastery: Proven ability to design SOPs, manage dealer lifecycle, and drive sales governance. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of dealer financing, margin structures, and partner finance operations. Systems & Tools: Exposure to dealer management systems (DMS), S&OP platforms, and CRM/LMS tools. Leadership: Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align diverse teams around structured processes. Executional Rigour: Strong project management skills with comfort in ambiguity and evolving structures.
