To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a

Head of Sales Planning & OTD Management

in the Sales Department, to join us at our Coventry site.

Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating EU S&OP planning and reporting, with cluster teams across Europe.


The position will report to the EU Sales Director and you will work closely with the Sales teams within their various clusters, manufacturing teams in Wuhan (CN) and Hethel (UK) and other departments within the EU Headquarters, to streamline the overall S&OP process and to deliver sales results to the business, by anticipating any risk and opportunities raised by key stakeholders.


You will provide Market intelligence by gathering and analyzing information, relevant to Lotus markets - trends, competitors and customer monitoring.


You will also contribute as part of the EU OTD business team, to the global digital project to build the Lotus Group In-house system (LCMS) by working closely with the Lotus Digital Team in EU and CN.

What You'll Do:

Consolidate monthly production, sales and order results and forecast from clusters and factories. Manage the EU S&OP reporting to keep track of the commercial and operation performance. Contribute to monthly business reviews with cluster teams and the LTIL organization. Elaborate the total EU production request together with clusters teams, considering countries sales & order forecasts, inventory levels and end-to-end logistic lead times. Ensure weekly customer/stock orders submissions are recorded on time into the LCMS system to fulfil the production pipeline. Analyze customer order trends and item mixes, to provide input to the procurement teams in CN on material purchasing, via the LCMS forecast. Collect data relevant to the marketing efforts of Lotus. Analyze and use this data to make informed decisions regarding competitor behaviors, products, consumer trends, and market opportunities. Identify business requirements and improvement opportunities on the LCMS system, to optimize the operations workflow and systems functionality.

What You'll Bring:

Experience of working within the S&OP/Planning function, with a strong understanding of the automotive industry. Can analyze data and translate this into clear guidelines for the company. Able to communicate efficiently, based on complex data analysis. Solid PowerPoint and excel skills. Strong English language proficiency. Experience of working within a Chinese organisation (desirable). Able to speak another European language or Mandarin (desirable). Experience of working within a luxury brand environment (desirable). Flexibility and accuracy.

Additional Information:

This role will be working from our Coventry location. Ideal candidate must already be living within the UK and able to work on site. Some travel will be required.
