Key Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and monitor an integrated sales strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of MGM Muthu Hotels. Set and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Lead market entry and brand positioning strategies for new or emerging markets. Identify and evaluate expansion opportunities, partnerships, and potential risks through in-depth market and competitor analysis. Recruit, lead, and mentor a diverse and effective sales team, ensuring each member has a clear performance plan. Foster a high-performance culture through regular training, coaching, and performance reviews. Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the sales department. Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key B2B clients, agencies, corporate partners, etc. Represent the hotel group in key industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to enhance brand visibility and business development. Conduct strategic meetings and contract negotiations with top-tier clients. Create, streamline, and oversee sales processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and a high level of customer engagement. Implement best practices in CRM usage, client database management, lead generation, and sales reporting. Work closely with Revenue Management and Marketing to create compelling packages, rate structures, and promotions. Conduct regular market research to monitor trends, competitor activities, customer behaviour, and emerging technologies. Translate market data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring transparency and accountability. Collaborate with the Marketing, Operations, Revenue, and Finance teams to ensure sales efforts align with brand positioning and guest experience standards. Participate in product development, pricing, and distribution strategies. Deliver regular executive-level reports, presentations, and performance updates to senior leadership. Provide accurate sales forecasting and revenue projections to support strategic planning.

Required Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related field Minimum of 8 years' experience in hotel sales, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing multi-property sales strategies. Deep knowledge of international hospitality sales, distribution channels, and customer segments. Experience working with CRM tools Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to travel as required for client meetings, sales missions, and site visits.
