BACKGROUND
Optimal Health is building the category-defining brand in longevity. We combine diagnostics, AI-guided care and therapeutic wellness hardware into one connected ecosystem.
Our client base includes high-net-worth individuals and innovative B2B partners across wellness, hospitality and sport. As we expand across the UK and UAE, we are looking for a Head of Sales to drive both performance and structure - someone who can sell with clarity, precision and care, while laying the groundwork for a world-class sales function.
This is a hands-on role for someone ready to lead from the front, build deep product knowledge and become a trusted advisor to clients. In time, this role will evolve into a senior leadership position with a growing team underneath.
ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will take ownership of the sales process across B2C and B2B audiences. You will close high-value inbound leads, generate new B2B opportunities, and implement systems to support commercial growth.
You will become fluent in our product stack and work with high-performing individuals, clinics and hospitality groups who expect excellence. Over time, you will build and manage a team of Business Development Managers, embedding a repeatable sales playbook and coaching high standards into every interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound Sales
Take full ownership of high-value inbound leads from qualification through to close
Build trust through rapport, discovery and solution-led sales conversations
Learn the Optimal Health stack and confidently articulate our diagnostics, software and hardware offering
Outbound Development
Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities across gyms, clinics, hotels and high-end residential settings
Develop outbound systems and cadences to engage priority segments
Work with marketing to refine messaging and materials
Process and Performance
Maintain and improve our CRM setup for forecasting, follow-up and reporting
Contribute to automation, templates and sales enablement tools
Feed real-world insight back into the business to shape marketing, product and customer success
Team Building and Leadership
Within 12 to 18 months, begin recruiting and managing 2 to 3 BDMs
Define and document the sales playbook and onboarding journey for new hires
Provide coaching, support and leadership to deliver a consistent customer experience
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within 6 months
You are closing leads at a rate on par with or ahead of our founder
You have built deep product fluency and deliver high-quality client interactions
You manage leads proactively across multiple buying cycles
You have initiated new outbound opportunities and supported the setup of reporting infrastructure
Within 18 months
You are managing a growing team of BDMs following your process
You are contributing to market expansion activities
Your pipeline reporting is live, clear and driving accountability
You are seen as a commercial leader internally and a product expert externally
ABOUT YOU
5+ years in sales roles, ideally with experience in wellness, high-ticket tech or health services
Proven success selling to high-net-worth clients and B2B buyers alike
Consultative, methodical and naturally curious in your sales approach
Energetic, articulate and confident handling complex products or services
Highly self-motivated and proactive with strong organisational skills
