The Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven
Head of Sales
to drive our business growth by establishing new partnerships with primary schools. This is a crucial leadership position responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new contracts for all three of our companies. You will be the face of uGroup to our potential partners, building strong relationships and demonstrating the value of our services.
This role is perfect for a confident and strategic individual who excels at building rapport and closing deals. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing, and will play a key role in the continued expansion of uGroup.
Key Responsibilities
Primary School Sales:
Lead the sales strategy to secure new primary school contracts for all three companies.
uSports:
Proactively contact primary schools to get our coaches in to deliver PE lessons, after-school clubs, and holiday camps.
uKids:
Identify and contact schools to offer our wraparound care services, helping them provide a valuable service to their parents.
uReach:
Engage with primary schools to identify children who may benefit from our Alternative Provision (AP) delivery.
Pipeline Management:
Manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation and initial outreach to negotiations and closing.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with headteachers, school administrators, and key decision-makers.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to meet and exceed growth targets.
Reporting:
Track and report on all sales activities, providing regular updates to the senior management team.
Candidate Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the education or sports sector.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and a high level of self-motivation.
Proficiency in CRM software and a strong understanding of sales processes.
A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
