Independent, agile, and proudly cloud-native, we deliver a multi-tenant, serverless platform that's already trusted by housing providers across the UK. With no outside investors and no legacy baggage, we move fast, update every 8 weeks, and focus entirely on building brilliant tech that just works.

Now we're looking for a Head of Software and Platform to take us to the next level.

This is your chance to own how we deliver software - leading a talented development team, sharpening our release processes, and evolving our Azure-based platform so it's faster, stronger, and even more secure. You'll have real influence, real ownership, and a front-row seat as we scale into a bigger, bolder business.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop our engineering team, setting direction and inspiring excellence including day to day coaching, and support to the development team ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and technical standards. Own the release process (currently 8-week cycle), making deployments predictable, automated, and smooth. Communicating proactively to stakeholders throughout. Champion quality through testing, automation, and best practices. Drive platform evolution across Azure services - reliability, scalability, and security are your watchwords. Collaborate across the business to keep delivery aligned with customer needs and business growth. Guide platform evolution using domain-driven and event-driven design principles, balancing long-term scalability with practical delivery needs.

What We're Looking For

Experience leading software engineering teams in a SaaS or cloud-native environment. Strong knowledge of .NET and Azure application services. Hands-on release management and CI/CD expertise. Proven ability to embed testing culture and automation. A mix of big-picture architectural thinking and practical delivery know-how. Great communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
