Description
You will manage the Food and Fashion, Home and Beauty division of Marks and Spencer in a combined operational and commercial position;
You will work closely with the Managing Director and the senior finance team to plan and deliver business strategy, financial targets and marketing plan.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate a clear understanding of store/business strategic direction and communicate clearly to your team members Adhere to and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures; Work closely with the HR department to lead, manage and develop staff according to the correct channels and procedures; Continuously drive team performance, recognising and celebrating success and challenging underperformance promptly; Manage budgeted spend working with the Finance Director/Managing Director to agree on period budgets; Work closely with the UK team and Trading Manager
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Managerial experience in Foods Exceptional leadership skills; Effective time-management skills; Excellent coaching and development skills; Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines Proven financial aptitude; Proven track record in delivering results
