Job Description

As part of the development of a new Commercial organisation within DN Media Group we are looking for a strategic leader to take full responsibility for DN Media Group's subscriptions sales and development. The role covers the development and execution of strategies to attract, retain, and grow subscribers across our nine publications and subscription products, in both the Nordic and global markets.


You will lead a strong global team, working closely with editorial and commercial stakeholders, as well as Product & Tech to maximise subscription revenues and secure long-term growth.


This position will report into the Chief Commercial Officer and can be based in either London or Oslo.

Your strategic mandate:





As Head of Consumer Business, you will be responsible for:

Designing and executing DN Media Group's overall subscription strategy. Leading and developing the teams within corporate sales, digital sales, customer success, and customer journey. Identifying and delivering growth initiatives that strengthen ARPU, reduce churn, and increase lifetime value. Driving collaboration between marketing, product, and technology to shape the next generation of digital news products. Building advanced capabilities in data- and insight-driven marketing. Responsibility for shaping value propositions relevant to selected target groups - from business case to profit realization Increasing the number of digital users by creating attractive product offerings and packages with a competitive pricing strategy

Leadership of a high-performing environment within sales, CRM, and analytics, where you will shape both culture and ways of working. Close collaboration with editorial, product, and technology teams to develop the end-to-end customer journey from first contact to loyal subscriber. Your background:




We are looking for someone who brings:

Solid experience within subscription or consumer business, ideally from media, technology, or telecom. A proven track record in driving growth. Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to balance volume growth with value creation. Hands-on experience with modern CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and build team capabilities. Recognised for building strong team culture Experience of working in a global business environment. Strong communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
