Being an active member of our Executive Committee, you will play a key role in shaping the continued growth and development of our UK Business. As we embark on the next phase of our business strategy, we are looking for a commercially focused Head of Supply Chain to be responsible for the management and performance of all supply chain functions which encompasses a workforce of around 200 employees. This includes the warehouse, distribution and transport, customer service, planning, sourcing and inventory management.
Reporting directly to our Managing Director of Operations, you will be responsible for improving processes and performance in all areas under your control through the advent of strategic and tactical projects. You will drive the development and performance of the supply chain in order to support and enable the Company?EUR(TM)s growth plans. You will also be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of compliance with the relevant standards.
This is an exciting opportunity which would be suitable for an existing Head of Supply Chain looking to bring their experience to an ambitious organisation or an experienced Supply Chain Manager looking to take that next step in their career.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the end to end warehouse operation by leading a multi-site team across various shift patterns.
Overall responsibility for the effective receipt, storage and distribution of the Company?EUR(TM)s products and services which exceeds 20m in value
Developing KPI?EUR(TM)s that clearly support the operation to achieve high performance and provide wider visibility of the Supply Chain performance to senior management
Leading on improvement plans for the performance of all aspects of the supply chain through the development of initiatives and projects
Driving a culture of compliance and overall responsibility of Legal and Regulatory standards
Attendance and participation at Executive Committee meetings to report and discuss strategic priorities
What you?EUR(TM)ll need to succeed:
A strong proven track record of Supply Chain Operational Excellence within an international organisation
You will be a leader of people and able to operate effectively at both Board and operational levels
You will have significant operational experience over a number of years in a fast moving medical distribution business or FMCG operation
You will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing and delivering major supply chain change programmes
You will have a knowledge of supply chain strategy, customer service, inventory management, manufacturing and procurement
