This role is responsible for leading and managing all supply chain functions, including: procurement; warehousing; transport; inventory control and production planning. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive supply chain excellence and support our rapid growth plans. ?

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in increasingly senior supply chain leadership roles. Excellent analytical skills, and the capability to inspire and lead a diverse team are both critical. Strategic Supply Chain Management?

Developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our purpose and values? Being accountable for the supply chain budget, including cost control and expenditure monitoring? Continuously evaluating and improving supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet customer demand. ?
Team Leadership and Development?

Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing supply? chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement ? Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and supporting professional development opportunities for the team? Implementing initiatives to increase employee engagement, recognising and rewarding outstanding performance and contributions? Cultivating a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture where our team feel valued and respected
?

Procurement Leadership?

Constructing a robust and strategic procurement process? Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating favourable terms/ contracts which provide value for money as well as considering ethical and sustainability credentials - we are proudly certified BCorp? Monitoring supplier performance and addressing issues related to quality, delivery, and cost.?
Production Planning and Inventory Management?

Developing and managing the ERP system to optimise production planning to deliver outstanding customer service in the most efficient way? Implementing effective inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory? Using data analytics to forecast demand and making informed decisions about medium and long-term operational requirements.?
Logistics and Distribution?

Overseeing our logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound deliveries.? Optimising warehousing, transportation and distribution networks to reduce costs and improve service overall levels.?
Cost Management and Financial Oversight?

Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality, customer or producer service.? Preparing and presenting financial reports and forecasts to senior management.?
?Risk Management and Compliance?

Identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain operations, including supply disruptions and compliance issues? Championing our 'safety-first' culture by embedding health, safety, and wellbeing practices into all decision-making, ensuring compliance and fostering a proactive approach to risk prevention across the team? Implementing and maintaining robust supply chain policies and procedures.?
Technology and Innovation?

Leveraging technology and data analytics to drive supply chain improvements and innovation? In line with the above, leading the implementation of our ERP system within the supply chain functions? Staying updated on industry trends and best practices, integrating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate? Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the supply chain team.?
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Desirable)? Strong people leadership skills, driving exceptional levels of engagement in a values led business? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills? Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.? Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering at pace? Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets. ? Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Relevant Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role? Proven track record of successfully managing and optimising supply chain operations? Strategic procurement experience? Previous experience of implementing an ERP system, with a focus on change management and project delivery? Experience of working in a diverse range of businesses including larger corporate businesses as well independent family run businesses - an appreciation for the differing dynamics of both? A track record of delivering outstanding results through their team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 80,000.00 per year
