Head of Talent & Development As one of the largest and fastest growing consultancies in the UK, The Green Energy Advice Bureau are continuing to successfully implement new and exciting initiatives to ensure the continued success and growth of our main operation based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Due to exponential growth and future exciting plans throughout 2021 and beyond The Green Energy Advice Bureau are now actively recruiting a Head of Talent and Development.The Head of Talent and Development is a newly created role which will work with the Head of People Support and the Head of Sales to pull together multiple strands of the people strategy, and drive forward the talent, development and diversity and inclusion agenda to shape and embed a high-performance culture.As Head of Talent and Development you will be the face of The Green Energy Advice Bureau, from initial induction you will oversee the career journey of our people throughout the training and development journey and beyond.Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role will through strong and professional thought leadership, provide strategic direction on talent, learning, career and leadership development and performance across the business to ensure that we retain and develop and acquire the talent and capabilities to deliver against business strategy and key areas of focus.What you will contribute

  • Manage ongoing talent review and succession planning activities across the business, working with key stakeholders to develop and deliver against a strategic talent plan, with clear career paths in place for our employees
  • Develop and own the employer value proposition, recruitment strategy and talent development (direct and indirect) across the business to ensure we have the right people in the right roles at all times
  • Lead the effective implementation and measurement of management capability and reporting on progress using tools such as engagement surveys
  • Lead the development and delivery of coaching and mentoring capability within the business and championing the benefits of coaching, mentoring and sponsorship
  • Work with functional leaders to refine and develop the functional and leadership competences aligned with our corporate values against which our employees are assessed and developed
  • Use external networks to make recommendations for the introduction of best practice development tools, programs, and latest thinking to grow our internal talent.
What you will bring
  • Qualification in Learning & Development, Talent, Organisational Development, Leadership or another relevant subject or equivalent experience within the area of Expertise
  • Good knowledge of developments and Expertise in Learning, development, and talent
  • Demonstrable experience of coaching at all levels within an organisation
  • Demonstrable commitment to the promotion of equality and diversity
  • Experience in talent recruitment
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes
  • Proven capabilities as a senior leader and manager, with a proactive flexible and inclusive management style
  • Flexibility and pragmatism and the ability to deal with Ambiguity
  • The ability to build good relationships and partnerships with key influencers across the organisation
  • The ability to make logical, well-balanced, and reasoned decisions
  • Able to proactively develop team dynamics and performance, ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Very significant experience in a specialist role, operating with a high degree of autonomy within a regulated procedural context.
What you will receive ? 40-50K negotiable depending upon experience.? Companywide bonus scheme and annual salary review? 23 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
