Tuesday - Friday. Weekend working and evenings will also be required.
Grade: G10
Salary: 43,693 - 48,710 Pro Rata 4 days per week.
The venue: The New Art Gallery Walsall
is one of the leading visual arts venues in the West Midlands. Situated in the heart of Walsall town centre, the Gallery is a busy and vibrant building with an exciting programme of contemporary art exhibitions and collections displays, lively learning, education and community events, an artist studio, library, cafe, conference facilities and shop. The Gallery provides a truly unique place for its visitors to experience, learn from, and participate in the visual arts.
The role:
To manage the planning and delivery of all front of house functions and operations at the Gallery to implement an efficient and effective visitor service to the public. To manage the planning and delivery of the learning and engagement programmes to implement an exciting and imaginative visitor experience to the public. To directly line manage the 2 P/T Front of House Managers and the Learning & Engagement Manager. To ensure compliance with the Council's policies, procedures, financial regulations and standing orders.
