Are you someone who enjoys making things happen, supporting people to thrive and creating positive experiences for volunteers and employees?
We're looking for someone who is practical, people-focused and who will drive innovation, engagement and compliance in these key areas.
About the Role:
As Head of Volunteering, Training and Wellbeing, you'll lead the day-to-day running and development of three key areas to support Demelza's strategic objectives:

  • Volunteering - ensuring our volunteers feel welcomed, supported and valued. Driving innovation, engagement and compliance through robust systems and processes.
  • Training - coordinating, creating and delivering learning opportunities for employees and volunteers, from induction to ongoing development.
  • Wellbeing - helping us create an environment where people feel safe and supported.
You'll provide leadership for a team of nine, work closely with colleagues across the charity and make sure our people feel looked after and ready to make a difference.
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has experience managing volunteering programmes or people learning and development.
  • Is organised, approachable, and confident working with people at all levels.
  • Enjoys improving systems and solving problems.
  • Cares deeply about inclusion and wellbeing.
