We're looking for a dedicated
Head of Year & Sports Coach
to join our friendly, supportive team at Orchard Park High School, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, from September 2025.
About the role:
Take responsibility for raising the standards of academic success, conduct and character development in your year group
Set, through personal example, an appropriate tone and expectation with pupils in support of the overall school direction and ethos
Maintain high expectations of all students within your designated year groups - with regards to uniform and equipment, attitude to learning, effort, resilience, achievement, politeness, conduct around school and in the community
Support the successful running of the Out of Lesson Provision
Provide support to the inclusion team
Maintain regular contact with families
Support our centralised behaviour system
Help to manage centralised detentions
To coach and officiate teams as per the school fixture list.
To liaise with the Head of PE on all training, clubs and fixtures
To be the weekly point of contact, communicating with parents for the age group teams that you are responsible for
To be proactive our sports provision and our teams
