If you're someone who can lead from the front, keep your cool when others are losing theirs, and bring warmth to even the busiest days -- this one's for you.
If you're ready to take ownership of the reception desk and become the heartbeat of the practice, keep reading.
To Apply:
Please don't email, call or drop in.
Instead, send us your
CV and a short Covering Letter
. Without a Covering Letter, your application won't stand out -- and we don't want to miss someone great.
You Are:
Experienced in dental or medical reception
- with
2+ years
in a clinical environment
where patient care and scheduling were your bread and butter.
Ready to lead
- you're confident managing people, setting the tone, and taking charge when things get busy.
A natural organiser
- you see three steps ahead and are already solving a problem before others notice it.
Warm and approachable
- clients feel at ease around you, even if they're nervous about treatment.
Computer literate
- you know what Ctrl-Cdoes, can touch-type confidently, and are comfortable juggling multiple systems and screens.
Calm under pressure, solution-focused and comfortable working independently when needed.
Ideally familiar with dental software (Dentally is a bonus, but not essential).
The Role:
This isn't a job where you sit behind the desk and wait.
It's about
leading the Front of House team
, driving the day forward, and ensuring our client experience is flawless from the moment they walk in.
You'll:
Run our
daily morning meeting
, ensuring everyone is aligned for the day ahead.
Be the
go-to person for the reception team
, supporting, directing, and stepping in when needed.
Oversee the
client journey
from start to finish -- handling bookings, follow-ups, payments and more.
Keep our diary watertight, coordinating between clinicians, clients and team members to avoid clashes or gaps.
Manage communication through
phone, WhatsApp and email
with clarity, speed and personality.
Keep a cool head when things change and find solutions fast -- because sometimes, they will.
You'll Need to Show:
Leadership
- ability to guide others, give feedback and help the team deliver a consistently high standard.
Experience
in a busy clinical reception - ideally with knowledge of treatments, terminology, and how clinics run day to day.
Professional communication
- written and verbal - with attention to detail in every message.
Speed and accuracy on a computer
- you'll need to be fast and focused while handling data and messages.
Excellent organisation
- you'll be balancing diaries, phones, messages, payments and walk-ins... often all at once.
Client empathy
- you can read the room and know how to make someone feel comfortable, heard and understood.
Responsibility and initiative
- we want someone who takes ownership, not someone waiting to be told what to do.
