Seeking a motivated and positive Head RVN for join our leadership team, who has a passion for driving forward best practice standards in animal care and promoting excellence in veterinary nursing. The right candidate would be an enthusiastic team player to lead and develop our nurses and SVNs.

We are proudly a two branch small animal practice nestled in the beautiful seaside coast of Ayrshire. Both of our branches are a short walk from local train stations, with frequent rail connections to Glasgow.

Our Troon branch has just had a major redevelopment which doubled out consult rooms from two to four ,doubled our operating theatres to two and a new designated end of life room. We also offer separate dog and waiting areas

The practice sports an in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound in which two of our vets hold an Ultrasound Academy Practical Training Certificate. Dental machine and dental x-ray. Both of our branches are recognised training facilities for student nurses.

Established in 1959 the practice has grown from strength to strength and we are now looking to add to our friendly, experienced and forward thinking team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with anaesthesia, nurse consults and in-patient care.

Our team consists of 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 ACAs, 5 receptionists, a Practice Manager and a Clinical Director.

No OOHs. Registration fees paid and CPD is funded and actively encouraged. Regular in-house lunch and learn.

The vacancy is for full time but hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. Salary up to 35,000 DOE
