Head Rowing Coach
Temporary contract: commencing 1st September 2025 until 31st August 2026.
37 hours per week, term time only, plus 3 weeks during school holidays
Salary: MCC Scale C Points 5 - 8 (24,790 - 25,992 pro rata per annum)
Monmouth Comprehensive School is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified British Rowing Level 2 Club Coach to lead their squad of junior rowers aged 14 to 18.
The school is the only comprehensive school in the country to have its own rowing club and it is very proud of what the athletes within the club achieve at all levels. MCS Boat Club (MCSBC) have an outstanding history of competition at both local, National and Welsh International level. We have a varied, very well maintained fleet of boats, boating from Monmouth Rowing Club, just a few minutes walk from the school.
The postholder will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing the rowing talents of our students, leading the delivery of all rowing activities at the school.
