Position Overview
As Head Therapist, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our ESPA Spa, ensuring every treatment exceeds expectations. Reporting to the General Manager you'll provide visible, hands-on leadership, championing service excellence, consistency, and innovation.
Through coaching and active involvement, you'll cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and genuine care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and schedule a team of therapists and technicians
Deliver personalised consultation and treatment plans aligned with ESPA standards
Maintain spa presentation, hygiene, and product inventory at the highest level
Monitor performance metrics, guest feedback, and implement improvement plans
Collaborate with the General Manager and Wellness Partners to design seasonal rituals and promotions
Drive ongoing training, conduct performance reviews, and support career development
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Qualifications
Qualified ESPA Therapist, recognised spa therapy qualification (CIBTAC, VTCT, or equivalent) or equivalent spa therapy accreditation
Minimum 2 years' supervisory or management experience within a luxury spa environment
Deep knowledge of spa treatment modalities, skincare products, and wellness trends
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach
Strong organisational aptitude and the ability to thrive under pressure
Passion for holistic guest wellbeing and personalised service delivery
