Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate children aged 2-12 years. As a Sports Coach at Sports Xtra, you will coach a range of activities and sports across our after-school clubs, weekly classes and holiday camps.
Duties
Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques relevant to the sport. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to children. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline among participants. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members regarding training schedules and athlete development. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and developments within the sport.
Experience
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential. Strong and broad knowledge of sports being coached. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate athletes. Experience working with diverse age groups is advantageous. A coaching qualification or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: 13.33 per hour
