About the Role:

Pro Skill Sports is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Head Coach to lead and deliver high-quality sports coaching across a network of primary schools in the North West. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in sports coaching who's ready to step up, take ownership, and lead from the front.

As Head Coach, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding sessions, mentoring junior coaches, and acting as a key representative of Pro Skill Sports in school settings. You'll be at the heart of our mission to inspire and motivate children through physical activity, teamwork, and sport.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead delivery of structured, high-energy PE lessons and extracurricular sports sessions Take ownership of session planning and ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, and developmentally appropriate Act as the lead point of contact with schools and staff during delivery hours Support, mentor, and guide assistant or junior coaches when working alongside them Build strong, professional relationships with school partners, ensuring quality and consistency Promote positive behaviour and engagement across all age groups Maintain high safeguarding standards and complete relevant admin (e.g. session logs, risk assessments)

What We're Looking For:

Confident and experienced coach with the ability to lead independently Strong leadership skills and the ability to support junior team members Passion for sport and a genuine commitment to improving children's health and confidence Excellent communication and organisational skills Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement Professional and approachable in school environments

Essential & Preferred Qualifications:

Enhanced DBS check (Essential) Right to work in the UK (Essential) Experience working with children in schools (Essential) Coaching qualifications (e.g. FA Level 1 or higher, UKCC, or equivalent) (Preferred) Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport (Preferred)
