At Maki & Ramen, we take our ramen seriously - all our noodles are made in-house and our broth goes through a painstaking 8 hours to ensure the silkiest and richest broth available. Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Sushi Chef at our popular Asian restaurant located in Unit 12.0.04 the O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. In this role, you will craft delicious sushi dishes that delight our guests and contribute to our mission of providing authentic Asian culinary experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with precision and care. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Assist in food preparation for other Asian dishes as needed. Ensure consistency in taste and presentation of all sushi offerings. Follow recipes and presentation standards to uphold quality. Keep work areas clean and organized. Support team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of food safety regulations. Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary arts. Good communication skills. Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
