Head Waiter - Prestonfield House,



14.00 per hour, plus a share of the staff gratuities (remuneration package circa 36,000)



Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experienced Head Waiter to join its dedicated team.



Built in 1687 by the King's architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.

Hourly rate of 14.00 plus a generous share of staff gratuities (remuneration package circa 36,000)

As Head Waiter, you will support our Management Team with restaurant preparation, plan and run your own station, and work across both Rhubarb and Private Dining, with a key focus on exceeding our guests' high expectations.



The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of restaurant and private dining service, a genuine passion for food, and an eagerness to expand their knowledge of our menu and extensive wine list.



Previous experience in a similar role is preferred; however, full training and support will be provided within our nurturing and professional environment.
