Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Server to lead our front-of-house team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Head Server will oversee the service operations, ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the serving staff to ensure efficient service. Train new servers on restaurant policies, food preparation, and guest service standards. Manage dining room operations, including seating arrangements and table assignments. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist in menu planning and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain inventory of dining supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Perform basic maths for bill calculations and ensure accurate billing for guests.

Skills

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and restaurant management. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary environments. Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Proficient in basic maths for accurate bill handling. Experience in food preparation techniques is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide support where needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Volunteer

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 26 per week
