The Mark Way School is an Outstanding secondary special school for students aged 11-16 with moderate learning difficulties and a wide range of additional needs including autism, speech and language disorders, and developmental delay. About the Role

The Headteacher will:

Lead strategic direction, curriculum innovation, and continuous school improvement Champion inclusive, student-centred education and wellbeing Manage operations, staffing, and financial sustainability Foster strong relationships with families, governors, and external partners Ensure compliance with safeguarding, SEND, and educational standards

Selection Procedure

The shortlist will be drawn up on 8th December 2025 and references will be requested. Applicants will be advised soon after the shortlisting date whether they have been successful or not. Failure to send your application form to the above email address may invalidate your application. The selection process will take place on 13th and 14th January 2026. Further details will be sent to those candidates called for interview.
