Stony Dean School is committed to providing exceptional, research-informed education and pastoral care to students with special needs. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We serve 213 boys aged 11-19, most of whom have Autism Spectrum Condition as their primary diagnosis.

About the role





We are extremely proud of our calm and nurturing environment; simultaneously seeking to challenge students and support them to be the best that they can possibly be. The role of Headteacher is pivotal in shaping the future direction of our school and ensuring the continued success of our pupils.



The new Headteacher will demonstrate the following:

- people focused with a strong ability to lead and inspire staff, manage teams, and drive strategic initiatives with proven track record in a senior leadership role within a secondary SEN setting.

- demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and school performance, and commitment to continue developing our adapted curriculum, designed to support different groups of learner's successes.
