As a team we are responsible for developing and implementing health and safety practices and performance that drive compliance across the authority.In this role, you will carry out a range of activities working within detailed Health and Safety Team procedures and processes to support the work of the service.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate files and databases following guidelines and as directed
• Co-ordinate Health & Safety training programmes, including scheduling, logistics and record keeping.
• Assist with administrative records to ensure compliance
• Prepare documents for use in meetings.
• Respond to queries from others and provide relevant information or escalate as appropriate.

However, please note that during the induction period, it may be necessary to spend more time in the office to support your learning and development. • 2-3 days in the office
• Works both from home and the office, depending on the task at hand.
• Training is provided to help balance work-life and manage time effectively, with an emphasis on communication for team touchpoints and planning in-office days for collaboration.

About YouWe are looking for an individual who is passionate about working in a supportive administration role and who possesses the following skills and experience:Essential Criteria:

• Prioritise what is important in line with team and service goals
• Have a good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes such as Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint etc.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work accurately and maintain confidentiality

Desirable Criteria:

• Be a good team player
• Ability to engage with employees, managers and partners
