Job Description

We are seeking a Health and Safety Administrator who will assist the Health & Safety Manager with the overall Health and Safety performance of Push Power. The role is a combination of office and site-based environments with the employee expected to participate in site visits for audit purposes. This will include visits to ground mount solar farms and roof top project across the country.

Essential Responsibilities



Assisting and maintaining comprehensive Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies aligned with company goals and legal requirements, communicating policies to employees. Assisting in promoting safety culture and behaviours within the organisation Assisting in the development of safety strategy and alignment with Push Group strategy Assisting in maintaining a Health and Safety management system in line with ISO 45001 Assisting in maintaining a Quality management system and Environmental management system in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Assisting with the identification of safety hazards and completion of risk assessments for all construction and office activities Supporting the Health & Safety Manager with construction activities: working at height, excavation, working with electricity. Assisting with the completion of audits on construction sites and reporting findings to project managers. Assisting with the reporting of all incidents and accidents, recognising and implementing corrective actions Assisting with the analysis and digital presentation of accident rates and lost time incidents

Key Skills/Qualifications



NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) (Desirable) Experience / understanding of Health & Safety (Desirable) Office based experience (2 years essential) Construction/building site experience (2 years - desirable) Proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety issues Good knowledge of Microsoft package (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Risk assessment completion Excellent written and verbal communication skills; tact and diplomacy to deal with contractors and senior management Full UK driving licence Experience of Smartsheet (desirable) Experience of iAuditor / Fastfield (desirable)

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
