We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator to primarily provide support to the Health and Safety Manager on a variety of projects along with additional support to the HR Manager as and when required.

Permanent Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

26,000 - 28,000 per annum, dependent on experience

33 Days holiday per year - this includes the 8 statutory public/bank holidays as normally recognised by England.

Day to Day



Training Management including coordinating with training providers and liaising with the relevant company

Producing new starter packs for all companies within the group

System monitoring and data input

Creating H&S files for all companies within the group and archiving of previous documents

Management of occupational health including issuing and receiving health questionnaires and managing appointments

Support with H&S audits

PPE management and distribution

Managing building/site serviceable items e.g. arranging PAT testing

Management of weekly fire alarm testing

HR admin as and when required including letter writing and minute taking

Any other reasonable tasks as requested

Key Skills



Strong organisational and time management abilities, including the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload

Excellent communication skills in order to clearly convey information through both written and verbally

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues and find creative solutions

Competent with various software applications including Microsoft Office, email and other relevant programmes

Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all tasks and ensuring information is correct and up to date

Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively and switching between different responsibilities

Teamwork - being able to collaborate effectively with others

Confidentiality - handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements



Full driving licence

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

Construction knowledge would be beneficial

Some knowledge of H&S and HR practices is advantageous but not required

Location - Moor Park, Moor Road, Leyburn

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
