Due to continued growth here at the Farrall's Group, we are delighted to be recruiting for a

Health and Safety Advisor

to implement and maintain health and safety standards across all sites (Based at Deeside). Providing specialist knowledge and support to the management team. Working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

Key responsibilities include

:

Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation at all sites. Maintain ongoing relationships with enforcement agencies (HSE, Environmental Agency and Local Authorities). Completing internal Health and Safety audits. Promote a culture of improvement in all matters relating to HSE and ensure best practice is followed at all times. Supporting the company's adherence to the BRCGS for Storage and Distribution, and maintaining product safety, legality and quality systems in relation to BRCGS. Co-ordinate, update and monitor Company emergency procedures. Manage the adherence to international standards, ISO9001 and help the business gain ISO14001 accreditation. Monitor and record all accidents and incidents and report both internally and externally where appropriate. Source and purchase all appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing. Manage all health and safety inductions. Ensure that all employees are adequately trained in terms of health and safety and environmental awareness. Co-ordinate and manage the Company's treatment and disposal of waste, ensuring all relevant paperwork is kept up to date. Monitor and update all relevant systems. Assist in helping the company improve environmental performance.
