Our client is looking for a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join their team to support in site inspections across their national portfolio. This role is ideal for candidates looking for progression and support within health and safety.
About the role:
As Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance across all operational areas. You'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Advising project teams on risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
  • Investigating incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Delivering training and toolbox talks to site personnel.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with external bodies including HSE and local authorities when required.
Our client is looking for the following:
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving licence.
