Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for promoting awareness and high standards of health, safety and security management for all the Trust's employees in addition to undertaking inspections, audits and risk assessments to ensure a safe environment for staff, patients, visitors and members of the public. To undertake effective health, safety and security management advisory and assurance work to ensure safe operation within the physical environment in which healthcare is delivered.



Providing Health and Safety advice and support to all levels of staff,



Undertaking risk assessments, site inspections, other audits and completion of



detailed reports for sites visited,



Ensuring that identified issues are communicated to the appropriate manager or duty holder,



To undertake reporting and investigations into RIDDOR or other relevant incidents,



Undertake the production of accurate data and reports on trends, themes and levels of compliance,



Action and respond to safety alerts,



Participate in the delivery of training to Trust staff.
