Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

Location:

Salford (with regular regular travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays where required.

Salary:

35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience + Annual Profit Share Bonus

Calson Solutions Ltd is a fast-growing health, safety, and fire safety consultancy based in Salford. We support clients across construction, utilities, education, property management, quarrying and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a confident and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join our team and support our clients in maintaining the highest safety standards.

The Role

This is a field-based role with regular travel across the North West and travel throughout the UK. You'll be based out of our Salford office but spend much of your time on client sites conducting audits, inspections, and providing competent health and safety advice.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks Compile audit reports, action plans, and follow-up support Prepare and review Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and CDM documentation Assist clients in understanding and meeting their legal obligations under CDM 2015 and other regulations Deliver toolbox talks and briefings when required Support our consultants with ad hoc health and safety and fire safety documentation Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to continuous improvement of our service offering

Requirements

NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum requirement) Experience working within civils/ utilities/ / quarrying/ construction or consultancy settings Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and construction site safety Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients at all levels Full UK driving licence
