Since launching Pro Safety Management in January 2019, we've partnered with major brands and grown exponentially, opening an exciting opportunity for a driven Health & Safety and ISO Compliance Consultant.

Currently, we are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant to take on an challenging yet exiting role within our compliance team.

This role needs someone with great attention to detail who can interpret the client's needs and develop real practical solutions to improving employee health, safety and wellbeing across large organisations in the UK.

You could also be the person who delivers ISO standards in the business and enjoys wowing the clients with high-quality work.

Role and Working Environment



Initially, you'll be asking lots of questions and making the transition into your new role. However you'll soon start to get involved with clients and developing your own relationships to which you will manage your workload to deliver high standards at every opportunity.

Your role as Health, Safety and ISO Consultant includes:

Health & Safety



Conduct comprehensive site risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend practical controls

Lead on Health & Safety audits and inspections at client sites to ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards

Develop, review, and update client Health & Safety policies, procedures, and documentation

Provide expert advice on legislative compliance and best practices to improve workplace safety and employee wellbeing

Implement Construction Design Management (CDM) requirements in line with the regulations

Deliver Health & Safety training sessions and awareness courses to client teams

Manage Health & Safety document control and reporting systems to maintain up-to-date compliance records

Support clients in incident investigations and developing corrective action plans where required

ISO



Deliverly against standards including ISO 45001, 14001, 27001, 9001, 22301

Undertake ISO audits, including internal and external assessments, ensuring clients meet certification requirements

Perform detailed gap analyses and compliance reviews to identify areas for improvement against ISO standards

Develop, review, and update ISO management system policies, procedures, and documentation tailored to client needs

Support clients through the full ISO certification and recertification processes, liaising with certification bodies as needed

Advise clients on integrating ISO standards into their operational processes for ongoing compliance and continual improvement

Prepare comprehensive audit and gap analysis reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations

Facilitate client training and awareness programs focused on ISO standard requirements and implementation

Manage document control systems specific to ISO management systems and certification evidence

Monitor changes to ISO standards and advise clients on necessary adjustments to maintain compliance

Your role will also include the coordination of fire engineers, specialist H&S consultants and other professionals. There may be some overnight stays however we believe in work life balance so you won't be living out of a suitcase.

Your Qualifications, Experience & Skills



Qualifications



Minimum NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) qualification in Health and Safety (essential).

Graduate degree (desirable)

A level English or equivalent.

Full clean valid UK driving license

Experience



To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience within a Health and Safety role (essential)

Delivering to ISO standards (essential)

Mobile telecommunications (desirable)

Construction (Design & Management) 2015 (desirable)

Skills



Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to create, review, and proofread legal and compliance documentation

Strong project management and organisational skills

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple clients independently

Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving ability
