Bison Concrete and Civils Ltd are a family run specialist civils contractor based in South Wiltshire. We are seeking an experienced manager to join our small knit team, helping to deliver construction solutions to our clients. What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised colleague to join our small team. Your role will involve you in being responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and sub-contractors as well as contributing to day to day requirements to comply to legal and client requirements. As a specialist contractor working within the civil engineering environment we deal directly with specialist agencies throughout the UK which will involve direct liaison as well as working alongside the project management team, you will also be responsible for the compliance and adherence to planning and environmental processes within the law. Previous knowledge of FRAP's and MMO'S would be a an advantage.
Qualifications and Requirements:
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate with construction experience.
SMSTS
Proven experience in health and safety compliance management within the construction industry.
Familiarity with CDM regulations and experience conducting CDM assessments.
Knowledge of SSIP accreditations such as Constructionline etc.
Experience with ISO accreditation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
