Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Health & Safety professional to join our consultancy team and support the Managing Director/Principal Consultant. This is a full-time role focused on delivering a wide range of Health & Safety services to our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate and demonstrate a keen interest in developing their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support clients in creating and maintaining essential Health & Safety documentation Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices Complete and update risk assessments, including COSHH, and propose practical risk reduction measures Perform regular site inspections to ensure the effective implementation of policies and procedures Stay informed on new and updated Health & Safety legislation, especially industry-relevant developments Advise clients on specialist topics such as fire safety, hazardous substances, noise, asbestos, machinery safety, and occupational health Provide guidance on environmental management issues on-site Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes Liaise with law enforcement or investigative bodies during serious incidents Maintain accurate records of findings and compile detailed reports with actionable recommendations Conduct Fire Risk Assessments (training will be provided if not yet qualified)

Essential Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate

Preferred Qualifications & Skills (Desirable but not essential):

NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate NEBOSH Environmental Certificate IOSH Membership (support can be provided) Familiarity with ISO auditing standards (training available) Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong communication skills (Welsh language is a bonus but not required) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks

Pay: 33,252.96-35,000.00 per year
