Health & Safety and Fleet Coordinator

. This is a dynamic, flexible role designed to boost operational safety, efficiency, and legal compliance--with scope to evolve into a dedicated Health & Safety Officer as our business expands.

Key Responsibilities



Health & Safety



Conduct site and office risk assessments in line with current legislation Keep H&S policies, training logs, and induction records up to date Manage PPE stock levels and incident reporting Liaise with internal teams and external advisors on audits, inspections, and follow-up actions

Transport Coordination



Manage vehicle bookings, MOTs, servicing, breakdown cover, and insurance Track all vehicle documentation and ensure legal compliance (including driving licence checks) Oversee driver daily checks and legal transport requirements (e.g. CPC) Support logistics planning and ad hoc vehicle allocations

General Administration (as required)



Provide admin support to Operations or Compliance teams Assist with document filing, audit prep, and general office tasks

Ideal Candidate Profile



Health & Safety qualifications or working towards certification Experience with fleet/vehicle coordination or transport admin Proactive communicator with strong attention to detail Comfortable in a fast-moving, reactive work environment Strong organisational skills and a willingness to "get stuck in" Must be able to work independently and flexibly across departments Driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK at least 1 day per week
