We are seeking a self-motivated and dedicated health & safety professional to lead and support our Health and Safety team across a portfolio of major construction and infrastructure projects.



This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are upheld throughout our operations, with a strong focus on high-risk environments, multi-site delivery and complex projects.

What you'll do

You'll lead a team of Health & Safety Partners supporting major construction projects, working closely with project teams and contractors to ensure compliance and embed a strong safety culture.



Using data insights, you'll drive continuous improvement through targeted campaigns and support senior leadership with strategic reporting and planning.



Other duties will include:


championing a proactive safety culture, promoting best practices and lessons learned across all construction and operational teams overseeing and supporting investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions representing the business during external audits and accreditation processes, ensuring readiness and compliance contributing to award submissions and recognition of safety excellence across projects identifying and monitoring trends and KPIs working collaboratively with other members of the management team.

What you'll need

We are seeking a charismatic and enthusiastic individual to join our professional Health & Safety team. This role involves leading, mentoring, and further developing the workforce and immediate reports, while promoting a positive health & safety culture and behaviours throughout the organisation.



You'll also have:


NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) a comprehensive understanding of current Health and Safety legislation proven experience managing health and safety across major construction or infrastructure projects, ideally including high-hazard environments previous experience of working and leading within a team environment first-hand knowledge of ISO45001 management systems strong understanding of CDM regulations and construction site safety protocols demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from site operatives to senior leadership excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to develop trends and recommend improvement strategies self-motivation, be organised and capable of managing multiple priorities across a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
