About the Role:
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will play a key role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the health and social care sector. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a passion for the subject. Responsibilities for a Health and Social Care Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Health and Social Care to students at Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing practical and theoretical understanding of health and social care principles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements of Health and Social Care Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Prior experience in teaching Health and Social Care or a related subject is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community.
• Deep commitment to helping students succeed, demonstrating patience and empathy.
• Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care education (desirable but not essential).
