What you'll be doing:

Managing People and Projects

Line-managing Social Prescribing Managers and providing operational support where needed Leading internal working groups to drive service improvements Providing flexible management support across other teams when required

Driving Strategic Development

Supporting and shaping the strategic direction of social prescribing and wider wellbeing work Identifying and developing new project opportunities Working with our Finance Team on budgets and future contracts Collecting and using business intelligence to inform decision-making

Working with Partners

Building and maintaining strong relationships with PCNs, commissioners, local authorities, and funders Representing York CVS at external meetings and deputising for the Deputy CEO

? Ensuring Quality and Compliance

Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and contracts Leading on safeguarding, data protection (as our Caldicott Guardian), and risk reduction Ensuring staff have the training and support they need to deliver high-quality work

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

Leading monitoring and evaluation of projects to demonstrate impact Producing reports for funders, senior management, trustees, and external partners Contributing to strategic reviews and performance dashboards

About you:

We're looking for someone who:

Has strong leadership and management experience Understands the health and social care landscape, particularly around social prescribing Is confident managing contracts, budgets, and performance data Can build effective relationships at all levels, from funders to frontline staff Is passionate about improving lives through community-based support
