We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in a care home or home care setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with individual care plans Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation Monitor and record client progress, behaviour, and any changes in health status Promote a safe and comfortable environment for all clients Assist with household chores and organisation to ensure a clean and welcoming living space Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans effectively Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.26 per hour
