Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in various in and outdoor activities being active participating with them. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others young adults with learning and behaviour challenges at times.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the implementation of care plans for patients
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications under the supervision of medical professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and record keeping using digital record

Requirements:
- Previous experience in healthcare or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Knowledge of care plans and basic medical terminology is a plus
- Familiarity working with young adults with home care or care home settings is beneficial but not essential

you will be expected to undertake ongoing training both theoretical and practical
