We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good command of English, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clients and colleagues. Driving may be required for this position, so a valid driver's licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all aspects of care are addressed. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by adhering to health and safety regulations within care homes or during home visits. Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills in providing high-quality support.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided. A background in driving is preferred for transporting clients as required. Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and communication purposes is beneficial. Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively interacting with clients, families, and team members.
