We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or home care settings. Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care
Administer medication as directed and ensure accurate documentation
Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery
Support with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping when required
Use IT systems to record care activities accurately and efficiently
Experience
Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
