Job Description
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
Level 3 trained Health Care Assistant
to join our caring Practice team. We are a well-established GP Practice in Abergavenny with easy access to M4, Cardiff and Bristol.This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of our 5,000+ practice population. Ideally, we are looking for a
Level 3 trained HCA
although if you are not trained to level 3 at present, but you are training towards, this would be acceptable. The vacancy is for approximately12 hours per week Tues-Wed between the hours of 8.00am-2.00pm
.Our patient focused team consists of 2 GP Partner, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and 1 HCA. We are supported by a LHB pharmacist and and have regular clinics for the midwife, counsellor, health visitor and drug support worker.
Essential skills and experience criteria:
At least 1 years General Practice (or other Health Care environment) experience as a Health Care Assistant
NVQ Level 3 in Health Care (or working towards level 3)
Proficient in EmisWeb and good computer skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to 13.95 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
