We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
New patient health checks
ECG recording
Phlebotomy
Chaperoning Duties
Processing & Management of laboratory samples requested by GPs / Nurses
Sterilising, cleansing & maintenance of surgical equipment
Vaccine / cold chain storage, monitoring & recording
Surgical equipment & vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation
Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations / specialised clinics.
Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well being
Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual.
Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being
Administration of vaccines (utilise PSD) which has been signed by a GP
Any other tasks associated with the role as set by Lead Nurse / PM (with appropriate training)
Requirements
Good standard of General Education
Qualification in Phlebotomy
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health Care
Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication.
Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records and following digital care plans.
Strong communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly.
A caring nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing.
Ability to work flexibly according to shift patterns and adapt to changing needs within the care environment.

Pay: From 11,930.28 per year
