Job: Full-time Night Shift Care Assistant

Hours: 33hrs per week - 3 x 12hr shifts (1 hour unpaid break)

Rate:12.60

Location: Ayr (central)

Summary

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Carrick Care Family. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while assisting with daily living activities. Your contributions will be vital in helping us maintain our commitment to exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Drive to clients' homes as needed for home care services. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Requirements

Experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes. A valid driver's license is beneficial for home visits.
