BANK Healthcare Assistants Required



We are recruiting for our care home based in Maldon, Essex. We are searching for the correct individual to provide specialist around the clock care for our patients who suffer from varying health conditions such as Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's. Starting pay is competitive with full support and training provided.

Your duties will include:



Assisting With Personal Care. Documenting observation notes on a 15-minute basis throughout the shift for residents on to one care basis Actively promote the prevention of cross infection and safety Companionship - Interacting positively with our residents is essential to ensuring mental stimulation. Promoting a calm and friendly environment Reporting to senior staff and nurses in charge. Always Ensuring safety of residents and staff

Requirements:



We are currently looking for an extremely motivated and bright individual to join our team at our high dependency unit in Maldon, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress and provide exceptional one to one health care for our elderly residents who have a range of varying and sometimes challenging needs, such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, Mental Health Conditions, Physical Disabilities and end of life care.

The right candidate will need to have a particular attention to detail and be competent with a higher level of responsibility. This role can be highly rewarding and will require you to build positive relationships with our residents, ensuring a calm and friendly environment.

All Healthcare Assistants MUST have at least a level 2 NVQ in health and Social care when starting with us, however we offer training opportunities within St Peter's to gain level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Given the varying needs of our residents we are looking for somebody who is particularly intuitive and capable of working effectively under pressure, on occasion you may come across challenging behaviour in these cases you will be expected to respond in a calm and patient manner with accordance to CQC guidelines.

This is a unique opportunity to gain specialised skills and knowledge of specific health care requirements. We are looking for the right candidate to come onboard with us who is looking to better their current skill set and progress further in a healthcare career. Additional training will be provided and full-time support will be readily available.

About our care home:



Our care home is nestled in the historic hospital grounds at St Peters. Within the quaint town of Maldon. We're extremely lucky to be situated in such a quiet area, our newly refurbished facility comprises of 16 comfortable bedrooms including en-suite bathrooms. Although we have the capacity for 24 residents. We pride ourselves in promoting a tranquil environment for our residents and have recently opened our sensory garden for residents and family members to enjoy.
